Editing with Photoshop CS 5
A three step editing process that will work for any image. It begins with camera raw, then moves onto a curves adjustment layer, and endes with a burning an dodging layer.
Editing with Photoshop Elements
The same three step editing process, only done in Photoshop Elements 11. The only major difference is that Elements does not have curves, so we have to use a levels adjustment layer.
Converting a Photo to B+W
How to convert your photographs into black and white using the Gradient Map adjustment Layer. We use the gradient map because we have more control over the final outcome of the image. Also, like everything else we use, it's a non-destructive editing technique.
Bringing Color Back into B&W
After converting your image to black and white, you can bring some color back into your photo by using your layer mask.

Editing Like Maggie Taylor pt 2
